← back to the rack

Ways to imagine a Kubernetes cluster as a retro computer system — tapes, discs, drums, card decks, lamps, knobs and paper. The audio metaphors are gone: no mixers, no channel strips, no faders.

The first section keeps the rack exactly as it is — same layout, same cables, same cassettes — and only swaps the parts that made it read as studio gear, for the parts of a tape-driven home micro. The four after it start over with a different machine each time. Everything draws the same cluster snapshot, so the options can be compared.
